Please note that on August 12, 2016 “FARG’ONAAZOT” JSC announced international bids for procurement of technological equipment.

The purchaser of the bids and contract holder is “FARG’ONAAZOT” JSC.

The source of financing is credit loans.

Hereby, we inform you that by the decision of interdepartmental tender commission the bid submission deadline was extended until 11:00 am of October 12, 2016, and the basic conditions of the bids remain unchanged.

Uzbekistan Energy Efficiency Facility for Industrial Enterprises (UZEEF) and Additional Financing

Contract Title: Procurement of:

Equipment to Upgrade of air separation plant and installation of demineralization of industrial water

Reference No.: UZFER/ICB-2016

1.        The Republic of Uzbekistan has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Uzbekistan Energy Efficiency Facility for Industrial Enterprises (UZEEF) and Additional Financing, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for “Procurement of: Equipment for modernization of the air separation plant and installation of demineralization of industrial water”

Bidders may bid for one or several contracts, as further defined in the bidding document.  Bidders wishing to offer discounts in case they are awarded more than one contract will be allowed to do so, provided those discounts are included in the Letter of Bid.

2. The “Farg’onaazot” JSC now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for “Procurement of: Equipment for modernization of the air separation plant and installation of demineralization of industrial water.  Planned Procurement consists of:

Lot No. 1: UZFER/ICB-2016-1“Modernization of the Air Separation Plant”;

Lot No.2: UZFER/ICB-2016-2 “Installation of demineralization of industrial water with a membrane purification process(reverse osmosis)

The bids shall be evaluated lot-by-lots and contracts would be awarded separately accordingly.

3.        Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding procedures as specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement of Goods, Works and Non-Consulting Services under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits &Grants by World Bank Borrowers(January 2011) (“Procurement Guidelines”), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines. In addition, please refer to paragraphs 1.6 and 1.7 setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest.

4.        Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from “Toshkenttenderkonsalting” SUE, tashkenttender@mail.ru, info@tashkenttender.uz and inspect the bidding documents during office hours from 09:00 am to 18:00 pm. at the address given below.

5.        A complete set of bidding documents in English and/or Russian may be purchased by interested eligible bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of US $ 300 or equivalent to Euro € and Sum of UZB on the date of payment by the Rates of Central Bank of The Republic of Uzbekistan. 6.        Bids must be delivered to the address below or by 11-00 am (local time), 12 October, 2016. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected.
